Telling About St. Joseph's

It’s been a long time…but I’m still here in Cobourg, quite busy helping get the baseball umpires organized for the season. I find it quite difficult to maintain any sort of ongoing contact with Belize, so if you are there I’d be happy to hear the latest.

Yesterday I completed the last of the scheduled speaking assignments on Stanley’s Mission but there may well be some more in the fall, including a visit to my old parish of St. John’s, Port Whitby. Picture positive proof follows.

Some of my friends from St. Monica’s, when it was on Hiawatha, now attend St. John’s, Norway, Toronto. They were there when I visited and we had a chance to chat at the parish BBQ.

The Men’s Fellowship of St. Peter’s, Cobourg supported the Mission and invited me back to show the presentation. This picture is from an earlier dinner when I was asked to thank retired MLB pitcher Paul Quantrill for his speech.

Just yesterday I visited Grace Church, Markham another supporting and very welcoming congregation. Pentecost was an appropriate Sunday to be telling of all the various peoples living together in that beautiful country known as Belize.
Soon we’ll be welcoming Robert Lyon back to Canada after his extended and successful visit to the Diocese of Belize. It is really unfortunate that due to funding constraints he won’t be able continue his work there. See: http://www.graphikos.ca/
